What I Know

A note to self

All concepts of God are mere concepts. The real God is very different.

You will go back to where you came from. There is not much to worry about here, and your worry won't change this a bit. You were comfortable in that oxygen-less womb before being born. It's just that you have forgotten it.

All concepts of morality and ethics are confined to the human domain. It doesn't mean anything to a dog, a cat, or existence.

Everything that you can name wants to "be". This urge to "be" drives all actions.

When my ways of "being" are not aligned with yours, then the symbiosis changes into conflict.

There is a symbiosis between fire and air, but with water, air is in conflict. There is nothing personal here. The conflict between water and air is inevitable. The winner will be determined by brute force.

Fighting for your existence is completely justified, but pick your battles carefully. Life is finite, and there are infinite battles out there.

Your core nature never changes, so there is no point in struggling to change it. Being aware of your core nature will help you sail through most of the ordeals of your life. A ship is designed to fight most storms. If a sailor is fully aware of a ship's true potential and limits, he can navigate it through treacherous waters without getting it grounded.

There is no other person in the world who has exactly the same experience as you, even in exactly the same situations. Any expectation that people can understand you is futile. You live in your mind. There is no one else with the same mind as yours. My assessments of how you feel are always flawed. It is just a guesstimation. This realisation will lift you from most of your daily agonies.

I would urge you to have a great relationship with yourself first. Unless you accept yourself completely, you can't accept any other person in the world. First accept your flaws, then accept the flaws in others.

Awareness is infinitely valuable. A slight increase in your awareness will pay you exponential dividends. To become aware, you will need to spend a lot of time with yourself. This is the only way. This is the reason why Hermits and Saints spend a lot of time alone and wandering.

If you could put yourself in the other person's shoes, even for a few seconds, it would resolve most conflicts.

The percentage of people with elevated awareness is extremely low. People who are aware don't want to engage with the world because they know the vanity and futility of such engagements. This is why you rarely meet such people. If, however, you are lucky to meet such a person, beg them, if required, not to leave you.

When Krishna says, "Don't worry about the outcome," he knows the infinite factors that influence the results of any action. It is by design like that. The world's probabilistic nature makes it interesting. If you could control outcomes, trust me, you won't be interested in that action. Gamble is deliberately built into the system. Your indifference to the outcome is your defence and your superpower against that gamble.

Being able to utilise your full potential is deeply satisfying, and not being able to do so is frustrating. All frustrations arise from here. People have potential. When they are unable to convert it into kinetic energy, they become stale. Life is in flow.

All rules are fiction. All concepts are false. If you live one day alone in nature, you would realise what I mean.

Books are good. But there is not much to learn. If you simply ask yourself lots of questions, you will figure out most things without reading any book.

Very early on, you need to understand your core values. These can't be compromised, though sometimes you might need to play along. Again, situational awareness is very important. Do appreciate the power difference with your opponent. If you are dead, you are dead!

Ultimately, play the game well while being aware that it's a game. If you don't play it well, you can't justify being here. If you win, remember, you won a "game"; if you lose, you lost in a "game".

If something affects you, explore it, understand it. This is a signal for you to take action. If you are not driven to resolve what affects you, then you are not playing the game, and it upsets the universe, and you are in it.

That thought in your mind, don't trust it till you are sure it's yours. Much of our thinking is affected by the shitty people we meet and the shitty things we hear in the media.

I can write a lot, but now I'm bored with writing. Actually, there is not much to say. Follow your instincts; it's your life, and you need to figure out things for yourself. I or anyone else can help you very little.

I just so much wish I could give you some awareness, but the game is rigged. I have beaten and burned myself, literally walked through hell most of my life to reach this place, and probably you might need to do the same, if not to the same extent.

Build your vessel strong and be aware of its limitations. Storms are inevitable at Sea. But it is a fact that a ship is built to withstand the roughest storm.

A ship is supposed to sail, brave the storm and experience the ocean.

Don't let it rot and rust at the dock.

What I Don't Know

I don't know the trigger, that switch which created Shakti from Shiva. This is probably the only thing I need to know. And, I will know this within this life.

This note is written by me for me, as something to refer to again and again, especially when I forget what I already know and what I don't.

I would be pleased if someone benefits from this, but it won't bother me a bit if no one does.

Bon Voyage!
